Fall is prime season for apples. Apple picking can be a great fall activity for every member of your family, young and old. Get outside and enjoy the fall weather while you are walking through the orchard, looking for the perfect apples to bring home with you, or maybe ones you will eat right off the tree. Find an apple orchard near you!
Corn Mazes, Hay Rides and Pumpkin Patches
Many local farms open their doors to families for some good old fashion fall family fun. Plan to visit a pumpkin patch to search for the perfect pumpkin, maneuver your way through a corn maze and take a relaxing hay ride through the beautiful countryside. Which fall festival is closest to you?
For children of all ages, trick-or-treat is the most exciting part of Halloween. Not only do you get to dress up in a fun costume, you also get free candy! Trick-or-treating is a great way to spend time together as a family, maybe even in coordinating costumes if you’re feeling creative. Even though trick-or-treating can be fun, it is also important that families make smart choices while out to ensure their safety.
